Nelson Maldonado is a University of Florida graduate where he played baseball all four years before being drafted by the Chicago Cubs organization in the 21st round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Nelson played in 258 career games for the Gators (third in school history) and greeted much success during his time in college. Currently, he plays in the outfield for the South Bend Cubs in Chicago.
